Assistant Director: Christopher Jason Bell
Christopher Jason Bell is a former critic for the Indiewire blog The Playlist and an active filmmaker. Starting in a small suburban town in New Jersey, he made the big move to Long Island and earned a bachelor’s degree in film at the appropriately named Long Island University. Upon graduation, Christopher teamed with former classmates Alex Megaro and Paul Taylor to form the Kariout Films Collective. “Bridges,” his latest short film, toured the festival circuit in 2012 and earned great notices from numerous outlets including Film Threat, Twitch, Indiewire, and Film.com. Christopher currently resides in Brooklyn like everyone else and is probably a bit too active on Twitter.
Design Director: James Prochnik
James Prochnik is an artist and designer based in Brooklyn New York. After working with artists in a company that created large scale murals and sculptures for clients around the world, he noticed that so much time was spent making the artwork that there was little time left to help share the results with the wide audience they deserved. To remedy this he formed a web design and consultancy called Artcentered Media focused specifically on helping artists and creative professionals share their work and accomplishments on the web.
